Wellcome becomes first Hong Kong retailer to roll out European-made 24-tonne electric truck


The adoption of electric trucks significantly improves environmental protection efforts. Wellcome’s all-new electric truck is expected to save around 264,000 liters[1] of diesel over a decade compared to traditional tankers. This equates to a reduction of around 538 tonnes of carbon emissions, which is comparable to the annual carbon absorption of around 24,710 trees, significantly improving air quality. In addition, the electric truck produces less noise than its conventional diesel counterparts, thus contributing to a notable reduction in noise pollution.
