After 7 years long of waiting and being curious, Cyberpunk 2077 will officially be launched this Thursday. Below is the review of Cyberpunk 2077.
You need to give yourself space and time in order to recognize how overwhelming the new Cyberpunk will be. Before making this review of Cyberpunk 2077, I got to check up with other players to guarantee that my experience about the game is alike to them. And for sure, that I have sensed correctly. Cyberpunk 2077 is enormous and worth the wait.
Alright, here we go deeper into the game.
The moment when you click on the New Game section, it walks you to the customize V segment where you can design the main characters in variety of ways. From eye shapes to fingernail length, and even the size of the penis, you have the privileges to create a character that fit your desire.
Unlikely to the previous Cyberpunk, CD Red Projekt this time let you have the customization privilege not for fun. A deep character customizing system turned the signal for an interesting storyline that is implemented in the game.
You will have an enormous world to navigate, the role-playing storyline that you have the decision to run its on your own way, and endless missions system that will make you addict to the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 was first leaked in 2013, but the project has been delayed for several times before being officially released this year on Dec. 12th.
The game will be a revolution for role-playing genre since the way you customize your character might affect your ending and your experience with the game. Absolutely, you and your friend might have different experience when playing this game. But in the end, I can warranty that it is going to be an amazing experience.
The storyline of Cyberpunk 2077 is definitely the hook of this role-playing hit made by CD Red Projekt. You will play as V, a mercenary powered by a robotic cyberware. Throughout the game, you will receive several missions related to cyberware such as stealing a prototype immortality chip in Night City at the first mission and then keep it till the final mission which is to maintain the relationship with Silverhand.
As it has been said earlier, the storyline of Cyberpunk 2077 is up to you. You can decide to end up the game early and receive such a disappointed outcome, or you can hang in there and do as many side quests as possible before ending up with the main quest.
The main quest of Cyberpunk 2077 actually is just to maintain the relationship with Silverhand and learn from his past. What is downside about this game is that you won’t have that much amount of interesting side characters as you wish for.
Besides your V and Silverhand, you should expect that the side characters in this game mostly play no role. But it makes you have to make a strategic decision. If you want to finish it as early as possible, Cyberpunk requires you about 20 hours to finish. But if you want to hang in there and accomplish the side missions, it literally can take you to the year 2077.
CD Red Projekt developed a mission systems that could take you up to 175 hours without finishing the game. Therefore, how long it takes you to fulfill the story of Cyberpunk depends on you.
Silverhand is the main character besides your V character, and remembering that your main quest depends on him.
I have talked a lot about the storyline, but Night City was actually the star of the game. It makes you want to stick around and explore new things inside that city. From the nightlife to the combat in the side missions, all of them makes Night City become a star of the game. Once again, the side characters of this game would not be that useful and it is the biggest drawback of this game.
But in the end, it is an expansive game to navigate around. At least, it only takes you 20 hours – theoretically – to finish the main quest. I personally will give it an outstanding high grade. Perhaps, I should give it 10/10, but after considering seriously, I will give it 9/10.
You all did good CD Red Projekt, but probably you still have to work harder.
