LSC provides laboratory test services to select Planned Parenthood Centers. If you or someone you pay for health invoices, have visited one of these centers and have made laboratory tests or has been referred for laboratory tests, your information could be part of this incident.
Please note that this incident did not imply all Planned parenting centers. In particular, it may have an impact only on the centers that have received LSC laboratory test services. On October 27, 2024LSC has identified a suspicious activity in its network. In response, LSC immediately initiated third -party cybersecurity specialists to determine the nature and scope of the incident and the informed of the informed. The survey revealed that an unauthorized third party had access to parts of the LSC network and has access / deleted certain files belonging to LSC.
LSC quickly launched a review and initiated a third -party supplier to help identify information that can be potentially involved and to what extent.

The specific information involved is not the same for everyone. It depends on the relationship of the individual with LSC but may include contact details such as name, address, telephone number and email, as well as one or more of the following categories:
- Medical / clinical information: This may include information such as service dates, diagnostics, processing, medical file number, laboratory results, patient / membership number, supplier name, processing location and related care details.
- Health Insurance Information: This can include the name of the plan, the type of plan, insurance companies and members / group identification numbers.
- Billing, complaints and payment data: This could involve complaint numbers, billing details, bank account details (including the name of the bank, account number and routing number), billing codes, payment card details, balance details and similar banking and financial information.
- Additional identifiers: This may include the social security number, driving license or state identification number, passport number, date of birth, demographic data, students’ identification number and other forms of government identifiers.
For LSC workers, the information involved may also include details on their dependents or beneficiaries if this information has been provided in LSC.
Confidentiality, confidentiality and security of information maintained by LSC remains its top priority. As a precaution, LSC hired third -party cybersecurity specialists to monitor the Dark web for any information that may have been consulted or taken without authorization during this incident.
