    HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach – November 9, 2023 – Citibank announces the launch of the Citi Tax Season Loan 2023, available for same-day approval and disbursement. [2]. Selected customers can benefit from an annualized percentage rate (“APR”) as low as 1.78% [1]. Upon successful application for the Citi Tax Season 2023 loan during the promotion period, customers can enjoy a cash voucher of up to HK$8,000. [3].

    Citi Loan Features for Tax Season:

    Terms and conditions:

    [1] The Annualized Rate (“APR”), as low as 1.78%, is calculated based on a monthly flat rate of 0.080% with a loan amount of HK$1,500,000 and a repayment term of 12 months . The APR is calculated based on the guidelines set out in the Code of Good Banking Practices and rounded to the nearest two decimal places. Interest is calculated based on 365 days per year. The actual applicable APR may differ, to be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the customer profile. An APR is a benchmark rate that includes a product’s base interest rate and other fees and charges expressed as an annualized rate.

    [2] Same day approval and same day loan disbursement is only applicable to selected customers who successfully submit the required documents along with a completed application form before 10 a.m. on this business day (Monday to Friday). Actual loan approval and disbursement times may differ depending on the information provided.

    [3] A cash coupon redemption letter (if applicable) will be mailed to eligible customers’ correspondence address in Hong Kong as per the Bank’s record on or before March 31, 2024. Applicable only to customers who do not hold no personal loan account offered by Citibank ( Hong Kong) Limited at the time of application.

    [4] The Citi Tax Season loan repayment term is 6 to 60 months.

    [5] Eligible customers’ Citibank personal loan account must be valid and in good condition with no late payment or prepayment, otherwise the Bank reserves the right to lose an eligible customer’s eligibility to participate in this promotion and the eligible customer shall immediately reimburse The Cash for the full amount of the reward under this promotion.

    [6] The offer for Citigold Private Client/Citigold Customer or Citi ULTIMA Cardholder is only applicable to the applicant who meets the following conditions from the date of application until the date of issuance of the redemption letter (both dates included):

    – Citigold private customer must maintain account balance at HK$8,000,000 or more, Citigold customer must maintain account balance at HK$1,500,000 or more, and Citi ULTIMA cardholder must hold Citi card ULTIMATE.

Citi PayAll does not apply to the Citi Rewards UnionPay card.

    [8] This Promotion only applies to eligible retail transactions and payroll tax payment for the 2022/2023 tax year made with any eligible card account during the Promotion Period (“Tax Payment”) . Payments for tax reserve certificates, business registration or stamp duty are not applicable.
