HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach – July 31, 2023 – DREAM CASA LOVE CASA – In Casablanca, we are very obligated to society. We believe sustainability and business success go hand in hand. In the near future, Casablanca will focus its community efforts on more needy NGOs and spread love and warmth around it. As this year is the 30th anniversary of Casablanca, we decide to relaunch the “Bedding Recycle Program”, which is in collaboration with Crossroads Foundation.
Since COVID-2019 raised awareness of hygiene issues in HK, many donation events have come to a halt over these years. However, this improved in 2023 and the donation business started again. As Casablanca is the first organization to promote the recycling of bedding products in HK since 2019 and received 130 boxes of bedding products to help those in need, Casablanca and Crossroads therefore decided to relaunch the program. This time, we aim not only to encourage the public to donate their old bedding product to help those in need and to raise public awareness of “reuse” and “renewal”, but also to reinforce the concept of ” giving instead of throwing away.
There will be 19 bedding collection points between August 1, 2023 and August 31, 2023, located in our concept stores. Donors can donate any bedding item, not just Casablanca, we accept all brand bedding products. After the donation, there will be a 10% Casablanca coupon for donors. Since Casablanca is very committed to society, we have pledged to donate HK$1 with 1 share on the promotional Facebook post to Crossroads Foundation in addition to the bedding collection program.
