Bybit and the Dubai Multi Commodity Center (DMCC) announced the “Web3 Unleashed: Crypto Innovation Challenge” hackathon, with a prize pool of $100,000. The hackathon follows a partnership that has already seen Bybit contribute AED 500,000 to 15 crypto startups in the DMCC crypto ecosystem.
Bybit thought leaders Bryan Aaron and Daniel Basharimov will help judge the competition, scheduled for November 22, 2023 and focused on artificial intelligence, gaming and blockchain security. The hackathon is set to become the largest of its kind in the MENA region, in terms of prize pools and participation.
The Bybit and DMCC partnership joined forces in June 2023, creating a strategic link intended to accelerate mass crypto adoption in the heart of Dubai. Bybit is pushing crypto adoption worldwide, taking its 16 million users on a journey to financial freedom and is committed to investing in its growth within the emirate.
Their collaboration was symbolized when Bybit became an official ecosystem partner of the DMCC Crypto Centre, a place where crypto and Web3 companies thrive, creating an atmosphere charged with innovation. Beyond financial support, Bybit is also DMCC’s crypto SEO partner, helping startups begin growth and providing mentorship.
