FUKUSHIMA, Japan, November 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Fukushima Prefecture will hold a six-day “Fukushima Product Fair” from November 12 (Wednesday) to November 17 (Monday) 2025, as a satellite event of the Japan Autumn Expo at Hanshin Arena Shopping Mall in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan Region.
Fukushima is a large prefecture producing a wide variety of high-quality agricultural, forestry and fishery products, as well as sake, adapted to the different climates and natural features of its three regions. Among these, peach, for which Fukushima has the second largest volume of production* in Japan and, thanks to the know-how of its producers, is known for its intense sweetness and firm texture. A diverse range of peach varieties are grown, including the key variety ‘Akatsuki’.

At the fair, jellies and juices made from Fukushima peaches, candied young peaches and other popular treats and drinks will be on sale. Additionally, many famous Fukushima products will be available, including apple juice, sake, yuzu liqueur and Kitakata ramen, one of the most popular styles of ramen in Japan. Visitors will enjoy the authentic flavors and culture of Fukushima.

As part of a related project, a video was released in which popular YouTuber Matsui visits Fukushima Prefecture. The Fukushima Product Fair is an initiative aimed at giving the inhabitants of Taiwan the opportunity to discover the gastronomy and culture of Fukushima and, thus, to widely communicate the attractiveness of the prefecture.
