Billy Brown, former star of Discovery Channel’s “Alaskan Bush People” died at the age of 68 after suffering from a seizure last Sunday. His son confirmed.
“We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved patriarch Billy Brown passed away last night after suffering from a seizure,” Bear Brown, son of the former star, wrote on his Twitter few minutes after Brown has died.
The message continued.
“He was our best friend — a wonderful and loving dad, granddad and husband and he will be dearly missed. He lived his life on his terms, off the grid and off the land and taught us to live like that as well. We plan to honor his legacy going forward, and to continue with his dream. We ask for privacy and prayers during this painful time! God bless everyone!”
Discovery Channel, his past work place, also paid tribute to their former star. On Twitter, they wrote.
“We are devastated to hear of Billy Brown’s sudden passing. He has been part of the Discovery family for years — a trailblazer, a lovely man, and most definitely one of a kind. Our heart is with his family and those that knew him and loved him as they deal with this devastating loss.”

Brown, born in 1952, is a naturalist and adventurer. He accompanied with Discovery Channel to create a famous show named “Alaskan Bush People.” Within that series, Brown with his family would find their ways back to nature and connect a bond with the green ecosystem.
He has been with the series from 2012 until 2019, when it wrapped up.
Once again, it is such a piece of bad news for the entire world. We, again, lost a famous mankind who has done such a wonderfully memorable series for Discovery Channel. Goodbye Billy! Rest in peace.
