The Asus ZenFone 8, ZenFone 8 Mini, and ZenFone 8 Pro were initially released in other markets in May. And after six weeks, the smartphone finally reached the American soil on June 29.

According to GSMArena, the Asus ZenFone 8 is a compact smartphone, contrary to most flagship phones. However, it still does not lack in power and has the features that its counterpart carries — albeit its size.
To be precise, the ZenFone 8 sports a 5.92 inches Super AMOLED 124 Hz display. Its resolution could go as high as 2448×1080 FHD+. Notably, the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus touchscreen makes the phone’s front durable.
SlashGear added that the pixel density of the smartphone averages at 445 pixels per inch.
Also, the refresh rate notably passes the standard of casual gamers out there. Not to mention that its 240Hz rate of touch sampling goes as fast as 1ms in response time. It is something to look forward to from the Asus flagship.

The ASUS ZenFone 8 is debuting in the U.S. with an Android 11 and ZenUI 8, the personalized interface of the company for its latest smartphone.

That said, the tagline of Asus’ latest smartphone, which claims that it is “big on performance,” is not creating false expectations.
Yes, the Asus ZenFone 8 is not something that users would not find in other flagships, but given its price and compact size, it is impressive.
Elsewhere, Lenovo is already gearing up to launch the first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 895.
