A foreigner tried to jump from the balcony of his hotel room on the 8th floor in Hanoi on Tuesday night, but was stopped by police, local media reported.
According to the report, citizens of the Emerald CT8 My Dinh apartment complex in My Dinh 1 Ward, Nam Tu Liem District of Hanoi, witnessed a strange man behaving strangely while hanging from the 8th floor balcony at about 7:00 PM. The local police were notified and promptly arrived on the scene.
Rescue workers placed an air mattress on the ground and had police officers and interpreters approach the man with a ladder truck. Despite the man’s refusal to cooperate and his constant struggle, the police officers managed to knock him out and bring him safely to the ground.
A viral video captured the moment when local police approached the man on the balcony of the apartment complex on February 14, 2023.
The man was subsequently arrested by the police.
