Talent Engagement Ecosystem (TEE-Up) which supports students and young adults in their professional development, during their transition from school to the world of work. Nearly 90 participants from experts from ITE, polytechnics, Prudential and industry were present at the MOU event.

The signing of the MoU took place at Prudential Singapore’s Marina One office.


Under the three-year MoU, around 3,000 ITE students will benefit from a range of future-ready courses on automation, financial literacy, generative AI and design thinking, as well as internships and the TEE-Up mentoring program. Prudential will host industry conferences and/or learning journeys for ITE students to help them understand and appreciate the use of technology and sustainability practices in the financial services sector. Prudential will also provide ITE students with the opportunity to apply their learnings and strengthen their portfolio through internships, events and hackathons, establishing a solid foundation for their future careers.
As part of TEE-Up, students can explore over 300 videos across different social networks. These include interviews with professionals like a CFO, productivity tips from a scientist, and entrepreneurship stories like starting a guitar company. In addition to consuming content, students are encouraged to become co-creators of the video content, sharing their own internship experiences. Additionally, TEE-Up provides access to programs and content designed by career development coaches to help them prepare for the world of work by identifying their key skills and areas of growth.
Since piloting TEE-Up in 2022, Prudential has also collaborated with five Singapore polytechnics to prepare their students for the job market. Under the program, students are matched with more than 120 mentors who are experts in different industries such as financial services, wholesale, technology and design.

After successfully engaging 300 ITE students through lectures, panels and workshops last year, this partnership with ITE will give an additional 3,000 young minds the tools they need to thrive when they embark on their career. Through TEE-Up, students will apply what they have learned. learned at school and acquire essential technical and life skills, preparing them for the job market of tomorrow.

Mr. Byron Yap, ITE student pursuing Nitec postgraduate studies in financial services and former intern with Prudential’s innovation team, said: “Throughout my internship at Prudential, I had the opportunity to gain real-world, first-hand experience that helped me learn more about my future career options. Being exposed to partnership events hosted by Prudential allowed me to make meaningful connections. My mentors also helped me identify areas of improvement to grow as an individual, learn different skills, and chart my internship path.
