Beijing,, July 5, 2025 / Prnewswire / – Diplomats, academics and decision -makers from more than 80 countries have met Beijing This week for the 13th World Peace Forum, aimed at strengthening international dialogue and cooperation under the theme of “the advancement of world peace and prosperity: shared responsibility, advantage and achievement”.
From July 2 to 4The forum is China Non -governmental platform above all for dialogue of international security. Organized jointly by Tsinghua University and the Institute of Foreign Affairs of the Chinese people, it summoned more than 400 participants for a swap exchange on global challenges.
Chinese vice-president Han Zheng sent to the opening ceremony July 3calling for joint safeguarding of international equity and justice and improving the global governance system. He presented four proposals. First, learn from history and jointly safeguard the post-war international order, as well as international equity and justice. Second, joining solidarity and cooperation to improve global governance. Third, the promotion of openness and cooperation to stimulate global prosperity and development. Fourth, standing together in solidarity and advancing jointly towards modernization.

The event brought together a distinguished group of participants, including former foreign political dignitaries such as the former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyamaformer Belgian Prime Minister and former president of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, diplomatic envoys Chinaas well as renowned experts and academics.
The forum includes four plenary sessions and 18 group tasks, attacking critical issues ranging from the stability of the international economic order to the growing influence of the world South and the changing contours of China–Europe Reports. In a nod to emerging threats, participants also investigated the risks posed by artificial intelligence in armed conflicts, highlighting the focus of the forum on current geopolitical tensions and contemporary security dilems.
As one of the main international security dialogue platforms, the World Peace Forum promotes mutual understanding and collective responses to global challenges. Its emphasis on shared responsibility reflects the sustainable importance of multilateral cooperation, in particular in the face of the modification of the global dynamics of power.
