Vietnamese business delegation explores cutting-edge AI technologies at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2025, aligning with global trends and fostering international collaborations.
From May 20 to 23, 2025, a delegation of over 600 Vietnamese business representatives participated in COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2025, one of Asia’s premier technology exhibitions. Organized by the Representative Office of Taiwan Trade Center, Inc in Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA), the delegation included officials from regulatory agencies, industry associations, and leading technology and telecommunications corporations such as Viettel, VNPT, CMC, FPT, HPT, and Saigon Bank. The event also attracted media representatives, startups, and other potential tech enterprises from Vietnam.

COMPUTEX 2025, held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2, featured the theme “AI Next,” focusing on three main areas: AI & Robotics, Next-Gen Tech, and Future Mobility. The exhibition hosted approximately 1,400 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions, showcasing the latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and related technologies.
During the event, Vietnamese delegates had the opportunity to experience firsthand various AI-driven innovations, including AI-integrated PCs and servers, autonomous AI management systems, intelligent IoT devices, and open-source platforms transforming industrial operations. These experiences provided valuable insights into global technological trends and potential applications within Vietnam’s digital transformation initiatives.

In his keynote address, James Huang, Chairman of TAITRA, emphasized Taiwan’s pivotal role in the global AI revolution. He highlighted the nation’s strengths in semiconductor manufacturing and innovation, positioning Taiwan as a critical player in driving AI advancements worldwide. Huang’s remarks underscored the importance of international collaboration and knowledge exchange in fostering technological growth.

The Vietnamese delegation’s participation in COMPUTEX 2025 not only facilitated exposure to cutting-edge technologies but also enabled networking with international industry leaders and experts. Through specialized seminars and direct engagements, Vietnamese enterprises explored opportunities for collaboration, investment, and adoption of AI solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Mr. Lâm Nguyễn Hải Long, Chairman of HCA, remarked on the significance of such international engagements: “By directly accessing new technologies, especially AI, at prestigious exhibitions like COMPUTEX TAIPEI, Vietnamese businesses can broaden their perspectives and enhance domestic innovation. Our goal is not only to learn but also to actively participate in creating new technological value for the region.”

The delegation’s involvement in COMPUTEX 2025 represents a strategic step towards integrating Vietnam’s technology sector into the global AI ecosystem. It reflects a commitment to embracing innovation, fostering international partnerships, and advancing the nation’s digital economy.
