Perez Hilton is no stranger to controversy. In the past, the media personality has fielded lawsuits from countless celebrities who deemed his blog, PerezHilton.com, too edgy.
However, this time, the trouble seems to be more personal and it involves him directly.
The blogger revealed he got a mail from the video-sharing social networking stated he had committed multiple community guidelines violation and that had been the reason for his ban. The e-mail further claimed that Perez was guilty of posting content that glorified “harassment, bullying, and nudity.”
“The reason that TikTok gave me for permanently banning my account without any warning is ‘multiple community guidelines violations,” he says in his vlog. “I am feeling numb, and I don’t want to seem overly dramatic, but I feel like my world is crumbling. This feels like a death to me.”
In the same vlog, Perez Hilton says he gets “targeted attacks against me by people against me all the time,” but he appeals the reports, and his videos are almost always restored.
This time, however, he’s been banished from the platform for good, and he’s begging to know why — and has even reached to the point where he sought help from Charli D’Amelio and her family.
“Charli is the most-followed person on TikTok, and I think the reason the I have been permanently banned without any warning is because I have been talking about a lot of creators on TikTok because those videos do well,” Perez says in his livestream.
“But I have not done anything that’s harassing or bullying, and TikTok is claiming that I am, just by sharing news and sharing my opinion.”
Perez Hilton also reflected on posting content about some of the TikTok creators. Even though he had taken a dig at them, Perez assured there was only content that could be described as news.
The 42-year-old media personality also says that he has enjoyed finding community on TikTok — and that he had around 500 draft videos on TikTok, some of which feature his kids and his mother.
The blogger requested TikTok to give information on what videos caused his ban.
Unfortunately, he has not received any information so far.
