MEGA US EXPO 2025 is a dynamic platform for business and innovation exchange between Vietnam and South Korea, featuring over 200 organizations and large-scale startup activities in Ho Chi Minh City.
Positioned as a key platform for trade and innovation between Vietnam and South Korea, MEGA US EXPO 2025 is set to take place from August 14 to 16, 2025, at the White Palace Convention Center on Hoang Van Thu Street, Ho Chi Minh City. The event is organized under the guidance of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups of Korea and the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City.
Spanning three days, MEGA US EXPO 2025 will bring together over 200 companies, research institutions, and investors across diverse sectors including food, cosmetics, technology, content creation, and consumer goods.

A highlight of the expo is the Univ. Star Student Startup Idea Competition, which goes beyond a typical entrepreneurial contest to serve as a strategic platform for transforming student ideas into viable, high-impact projects. The program welcomes 750 students from 37 universities in Ho Chi Minh City and 12 of South Korea’s most prestigious institutions, fostering a vibrant and collaborative startup ecosystem.
HS HYOSUNG, a leading South Korean industrial conglomerate, plays a key role as the main sponsor of the Univ. Star 2025 competition. Their financial support of VND 200 million reflects a strong commitment to fostering innovation at its roots—through education and early-stage entrepreneurship.
In parallel with Univ. Star, the Venture Star program makes its return with an expanded scale, featuring promising startups from both Vietnam and Korea. These startups will pitch their projects to a panel of domestic and international investors, creating valuable opportunities for growth and collaboration.
Additional activities such as the K-Food B2B Matching, Technology Showcase, and Hybrid Exhibition are set to offer multidimensional networking experiences and drive cross-border partnerships.
MEGA US EXPO 2025 is more than just a trade show—it is a strategic platform for shaping future trends in economic cooperation and technological exchange, reinforcing Vietnam’s position as a vital destination for Korean enterprises in Southeast Asia.
