The creative director of fashion Olivier Rousteing and Master Blender, Dr. Emma Walker, reveal their second collaboration – The Couture Blend – a tribute to the creative evolution and a daring fusion of heritage and avant -garde design.
LONDON,, October 3, 2025 / Prnewswire / – Today marks the second launch of Johnnie Walker Vault and Olivier Rousteing – The Couture Blend – a tribute to personal evolution, intrepid art and creative tension.

Made in the Jump Johnnie Walker, a deep creative hidden “hidden” under princes Street in Edinburgh, the sewing mixture follows the couture expression success, the first version under the luxury platform Johnnie Walker Vault.
Launched earlier this year as a window of mixing art, Johnnie Walker Vault unites tailor -made mixtures, luxurious experiences and collaborations with cultural icons under a single visionary banner.
The couture mixture is a luxury Scottish whiskey in limited edition with experimentation and progress in its heart. Imagined by Rousteing as the centerpiece of his collection with Johnnie Walker Vault, it is a liquid manifesto of style, balance and spirit.
Pushing the limits of what a luxury scotch can be, its profile has modern experimental whiskeys alongside vintage whiskeys and ghosts from long closed distilleries. The design of the Rousteing architectural bottle also merges tradition with reinvention – bringing its radically modern sewing aesthetics to redefine luxury scotch codes.
Whiskey is launching at an important time for Rousteing, coinciding with his 40th anniversary – an important step which he describes as “entering a new chapter with wisdom, Freedom and Serenity”. To honor this, Dr. Emma Walker has included several whiskeys at least 40 years old, superimposing them with experimental and rare whiskeys to create a unique flavored tension and style.
By creating the mixture, Dr. Walker has only selected 10 whiskeys from the Johnnie Walker safe – a liquid library of 500 rare whiskeys organized from 10 million scotch barrels. She chose ghost whiskeys of closed distilleries such as Port Dundas and Caledonian to tell a story of tradition and rarity, superimposing them with pioneer whiskeys from the 80s and 90s, including Benrinnes, Cragganmore and Cameronbridge. The contemporary expressions of the last two decades, such as Cardhu, Roseisle and Teaninich, have brought the experimentation in process and finishes.
“I have been inspired by Olivier’s story on progress over the past forty years, from his first self -discovery to his daring modern creativity. In this mixture, I have looked into progressive and experimental whiskeys of the past and the present – whiskeys that push the limits like Olivier à Couture,” said Dr. Walker.
She continued: “I chose rare malts of the ripe roseisle in ex-nine barrels for fruity tropical flavors, a spicy chocolate malt of Teannich for Tonka notes, and a ghost of Port Ellen for a unique smoke coat.
The thread of progress and creative tension continues in the design of Rousteing for the seam mixture. He reinterpreted the proportions of luxury crystal cards while paying tribute to the emblematic square bottles to Johnnie Walker since the 1800s. The result is an architectural carafe that faces heritage with a more maximalist contemporary aesthetic.
Sculptural with prominent shoulders, the crystal bottle is surmounted by an oversized square cap. This piece on the proportions and echoes the daring sewing of Rousteing, while remaining faithful to Johnnie Walker Heritage. The decanter is dressed in gold, with certain retailers also offering a customizable necklace engraved with the collector’s initials.
Rousteing said: “I wanted to create something that captures the tension between minimalism and maximalism, triggering conversation and curiosity, anchored in current but futuristic and timeless gold. I loved the paradox of pure crystal and decadent gold, ending the decanter with the well.
He added: “In each sewing show, there is a look designed to eliminate the breath of viewers – the signature of the collection. For me, the seam mixture is only that.”
With only 1,500 Crystal characteristics numbered individually produced, the retail price recommended for the Couture mixture is $ 2,500, available at some luxury retailers.
