Hoa Lâm Group and Siemens Healthineers Form Strategic Partnership to Enhance High-Quality Healthcare Services in Vietnam
On June 7, 2024, Hoa Lâm Group and Siemens Healthineers signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a strategic partnership aimed at improving high-quality healthcare services in Vietnam.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mrs. Trần Thị Lâm, Founding Chairwoman of Hoa Lâm Group; Dr. Trương Vĩnh Long, Director of Gia An 115 Hospital; Mr. Fabian Singer, Managing Director of Siemens Healthineers Vietnam; and other representatives from both organizations.
Through this partnership, Siemens Healthineers will become Hoa Lâm Group’s technology partner in the field of diagnostic imaging, supplying advanced medical equipment such as modern CT scanners, MRI machines, mammography units, and X-ray machines. These technologies will be used to support diagnostic and treatment services at Hoa Lâm Group’s hospitals and medical facilities.
Siemens Healthineers will also provide cutting-edge technologies for cancer diagnosis and treatment, including PET/CT and SPECT/CT systems, radiation therapy equipment, and CT simulation systems. This will aid Hoa Lâm Group in establishing and developing a comprehensive oncology and nuclear medicine center.
Additionally, the partnership aims to standardize and enhance the digital capabilities of Hoa Lâm Group’s hospitals and medical facilities. Siemens Healthineers will assist Hoa Lâm Group with overall management consulting services to implement a digital transformation roadmap. This includes solutions such as AI-assisted radiology (breast mammography, lung CT, brain MRI) and performance management solutions.
Beyond these initiatives, Hoa Lâm Group and Siemens Healthineers plan to collaborate on research projects and promote awareness and screening programs for cancers such as breast, liver, and lung cancer within the community.
Mrs. Trần Thị Lâm shared that Hoa Lâm Group’s investment in the Hoa Lâm Shangri-La High-Tech Medical Zone in Bình Tân District, Ho Chi Minh City, aims to deliver international standard high-quality medical services, meeting the growing healthcare needs of Vietnamese people and those in Southeast Asia. Currently, the high-tech medical zone includes two operational hospitals: City International Hospital, the first and only international hospital at the western gateway of Ho Chi Minh City, and Gia An 115 Hospital, known for its advanced multi-specialty services and pioneering use of cutting-edge techniques in emergency care, diagnosis, and treatment. Hoa Lâm Group is also progressing with the construction of an oncology and nuclear medicine center in the high-tech medical zone. The strategic partnership with Siemens Healthineers, a leading medical technology company from Germany, is significant and aligns with Hoa Lâm Group’s healthcare development strategy to enhance healthcare services in Vietnam.
Mr. Fabian Singer expressed his pleasure in partnering with Hoa Lâm Group to provide high-quality healthcare services, improve treatment outcomes, and promote precision medicine while advancing digitalization in healthcare. Since its establishment in Vietnam in 1993, Siemens Healthineers has collaborated with numerous medical facilities to enhance capabilities and train healthcare professionals in diagnostic imaging. By entering into this strategic partnership with Hoa Lâm Group, Siemens Healthineers is confident in building a long-term, effective relationship, supporting the development of the High-Tech Medical Zone to international standards, and contributing to making Ho Chi Minh City a leading healthcare center in the ASEAN region.
