The new capacities of the life cycle of infrastructure and safety simplify hybrid operations and help to progress towards intelligent infrastructure operations
San Francisco,, September 26, 2025 / Prnewswire / – Today in Hasiconfon 2025, the 10th World Conference organized by Hashicorp and its first as IBM (NYSE: IBM) Company, the company has presented a series of innovations on the life cycle of infrastructure and security, and an overview of Project Infragraph – a new strategic investment for the Cloud Hashicorp (HCP) platform which lays the basics of aging infrastructure.

Infrastructure as an identity -based code and security are generally fundamental practices for cloud programs. But the complexity continues to grow as organizations are trying to operationalize AI, and infrastructure may require more intelligence, integration and autonomous operations. These announcements reflect this change, designed to advance the capacities necessary to operate effectively today, while helping the teams to prepare for agent workflows.
Presentation of the Infragraph project: the Foundation of Agent Infrastructure
As part of IBM, Hashicorp accelerates its vision to provide a unified control plan that extends through the hybrid cloud to support organizations of all sizes, operating in cloud environments.
Modern companies do not have a unified file system for infrastructure and security. Visibility can be fragmented, the context lost and the operations of day 2 suffer. Project Infragraph This seems to resolve these challenges, as a real -time infrastructure graph which links infrastructure, applications, services and property.
- Near real time, relational visibility Rationalize the way teams access data that counts the most, through infrastructure layers, from workflows to production environments.
- Tailor-made information for platform and infrastructure teams Give more clarity on application relationships, team possession and the context of the configuration, helping the teams to make decisions more quickly.
- Flexible access to the context of infrastructure Allows teams to supply automation and apply policy with greater precision via a unified view.
- Preparation of agent workflow Prepare organizations to evolve AI with the context of infrastructure to support the workflows of future sanitation, optimization and planning.
Project Infragraph is expected to be delivered as a capacity in the Hashicorp Cloud platform (HCP). In the future, Project Infragraph plans to extend HCP to connect to the wider IBM software portfolio, notably Red Hat Anble and Openshift, IBM Watsonx Orchestrate, Concert, Turbonomic and Cloudability. This approach will help customers unify infrastructure, security and applications as part of a coherent data and strategy model.
With Project Infragraph, infrastructure teams can start to resolve long -standing challenges concerning the visibility, property and governance of data – without the complexity of fragmented tools. The vision of Project Infragraph is that over time, as more capacities are added, the same graph will allow the AI to reason on the state of the infrastructure, to propose runbooks and configuration changes and to act effectively to the life cycle of the application.
Hashicorp currently accepts applications for the Private Beta Program for Project Infragraph, which should open December 2025.
From day 0 to day n: what’s new in ilm and slm
Updates to the management of life cyclists (ILM) and security management (SLM) of security management (SLM) show how Hashicorp helps teams to meet today’s infrastructure and security challenges, while progressing towards intelligent operations.
Lifecycle Management Infrastructure (ILM)
New ILM capabilities Focus on carrying out infrastructure, policies governance and day 2 operations faster, and more evolving in complex hybrid environments.
- HCP Terraform Stacks (GA): Organize and deploy Terraform configurations on several infrastructure components and environments as a single management unit to simplify and treat operational general costs.
- HCP Terraform Search (Beta): Accelerate the infrastructure as an integration of the code by allowing users to quickly discover and import loose resources, minimize manual processes and subjects to errors.
- HCP Terraform (BETA) actions: Automatize and rationalize the infrastructure operations of day 2 by codifying them directly alongside your infrastructure code, which helps process operational costs. This allows first -class integration between Terraform and Red Hat Ansible for end -to -end infrastructure as well as code.
- HCP Terraform holds your own key (GA): Provide customers with greater data control by taking advantage of a self -managed key to encrypting sensitive data, prioritizing the governance and data security.
- HCP Terraform MCP Server (Beta): Manage infrastructure using natural language to interact with private and public terraform registers, trigger executions of the workspace and gain validated and conscious information directly from a customer or IA IDE.
- HCP Packer Packer Visibility (BETA) and SBOM Storage (GA): Follow the origin of the image and the software material store (SBOMS) to prioritize the security of the supply chain and the preparation for the audit.
Safety life cycle management (SLM)
New SLM improvements Improve secret detection, simplify secure access and support policies governance for modern corporate environments.
- HCP Boundary RDP Identification injection (beta): Simplify secure distance access by injecting identification information directly into Windows RDP sessions, designed to resolve concerns about the exposure of secrets to end users.
- HCP Vault Radar Jira SaaS Scanning (GA) and Ide Plugin Enhancement (Beta): Address the risk before deployment by detecting and surfaced secrets exposed earlier in the development process in the FDI of the developer and in the tickets created in Jira.
- HCP Vault Radar MCP Server (Beta): Interface directly with HCP Vault Radar using natural language and integrate with other security agents using MCP.
- HCP Vault dedicated – AWS Privatelink (GA): Improve private networking and prioritize compliance and security requirements by rationalizing connectivity with AWS Privatellink.
- HCP Vault dedicated – Azure DNS (BETA): DNS Power and resolution managed by the customer for the dedicated HCP Vault cluster based on Azure.
- HCP Vault dedicated – Secrets Inventory Reporting (BETA): Stimulate improvements in the security posture by obtaining visibility on secret use, expired secrets and adoption trends.
- Vault Enterprise 1.21 (expected October 2025): Automate cryptographic workflows, activate post-health preparation and apply zero-trust controls with new APIs and capacities
- Vault MCP Server (Beta): Manage the secrets and sensitive data using natural language to perform queries and jump operations, including the creation, list and deletion of key value supports and their secrets.
“The latest Hashicorp product updates and the introduction of Project Infragraph report more than the product dynamics – they represent the evolution of a platform that can unify infrastructure and security data, and accelerate intelligent decision -making,” said Armon Dadgar,, CTO and co-founder of Hashicorp. “We focused on customer assistance to create secure and scalable cloud programs ready for AI and generate value with each stakeholder.”
“Project Infragraph is a major step towards infrastructure that can observe, reason and act,” said Dinesh NirmalMain vice-president, IBM software. “By combining automation with real -time infrastructure intelligence, we create the control layer that unlocks the next era of operations fueled by AI.”
