Covid-19 hotspot Bac Giang wants more than 120,000 suspended workers back at work by the end of November. The northern province, which leads the nation in Covid-19 tally with 5,490 cases in the latest wave, plans to bring back its workers to industrial parks from now until the rest of the year in a phased manner: 30,000 by next month, 50,000 by August and 100,000 by October. Trials for Nanocovax, a made-in-Vietnam Covid-19 vaccine, have shown positive results. Between December last year and April this year, Vietnam completed the first and second stage of human trials of Nanocovax with the participation of more than 600 volunteers. All of the vaccinated volunteers have developed antibodies against Covid-19 at different levels. An additional 80 more Covid-19 patients have been confirmed, raising the total number of patients in the country to 13,862, the Ministry of Health reported on Wednesday noon. The HCMC traffic police started to temporarily stop receiving new auto and motorcycle registrations from June 22, to prevent the spread of Covid-19 which is still raging in the city.
