The Health Ministry Thursday added 69 to HCMC’s Covid-19 deaths after discrepancies were observed between reported and confirmed fatalities in the city. Vietnam recorded 823 new Covid-19 cases Wednesday evening, bringing the daily total to a new peak of 2,924. The total number of local cases since April 27 has reached 33,858 in 58 localities.
