Taiwan Digital Day 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City bridged Vietnamese and Taiwanese tech enterprises, fostering collaboration in smart cities, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
Ho Chi Minh City, July 30, 2025 – Amid the global surge in digital transformation and the pursuit of smart, sustainable urban development, the Ho Chi Minh Computer Association (HCA) joined forces with Taiwan’s Institute for Information Industry (III) to host Taiwan Digital Day, a pivotal technology trade summit. The event attracted over 100 delegates from government bodies, research institutes, technology enterprises, industry associations, and media, fostering a dynamic platform for Vietnamese and Taiwanese businesses to collaborate and advance cutting-edge technological solutions.
A Hub for Cross-Border Tech Synergy
Taiwan Digital Day facilitated direct business-to-business (B2B) engagements between leading technology firms from Taiwan and Vietnam. Featuring nine prominent Taiwanese tech companies specializing in fields such as Smart City, Smart Transportation, Cybersecurity, Smart Energy, Smart Agriculture, Smart Commerce, and sustainable environmental governance (ESG), the event unlocked practical and impactful business collaboration opportunities.
A key highlight was the 1:1 B2B Matchmaking sessions, with over 250 pre-registered connections involving more than 40 Vietnamese enterprises across diverse sectors. These sessions were vibrant and productive, focusing on identifying specific technology needs, proposing pilot projects or tailored solutions for the Vietnamese market, and exploring opportunities for distribution and co-development partnerships. These outcomes underscore Taiwan Digital Day’s role as a strategic catalyst for meaningful Vietnam-Taiwan tech collaboration.

In-Depth Industry Engagements
Beyond the summit’s matchmaking sessions, the Taiwanese delegation conducted in-depth visits and discussions with leading organizations and enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City. Key activities included:
- Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA): Discussions on solutions to support small and medium enterprises in their digital transformation journey.
- CMC Technology Group: A tour of its data center and talks on digital platform collaboration models.
- VNG Corporation: Exploration of trends in artificial intelligence (AI) applications and local tech product development.
- Dai Dung Group: Conversations on integrating smart industrial solutions into manufacturing processes.
- Sao Bac Dau Technologies Corporation: Insights into ICT solutions, cloud computing, and integrated service deployment capabilities.
