An Bang Beach in Hoi An Town and My Khe Beach in Da Nang City rank fifth and sixth among the best beaches in Asia, according to Tripadvisor.
The American travel site recently revealed its Travelers’ Choice ranking of the best 2024 beaches for Asia.
Vietnam has two beaches in the list this year, while last year only My Khe made it, again securing sixth place.

An Bang Beach is famous for its white sand, clear skies, swimming and snorkeling. Adventure travelers can try their hand at paragliding, jet skiing and body surfing. For those looking for a more relaxed experience, lounge chairs and bicycles are available.
My Khe is described by Tripadvisor as “ticking all the boxes when you want a relaxing day at the beach”. It’s a serene place with soft sand and gentle waves, and generally uncrowded, making it simple to find a place to relax.

Topping the list are Kelingking Beach on Nusa Penida Island, Indonesia, Banana Beach in Thailand, and Haeundae Beach in South Korea.
Rankings are determined by factors such as popularity, accessibility, scenery, water cleanliness and activities available to tourists.
The Best Best Beaches in Asia award is part of Tripadvisor’s annual Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best awards. These awards recognize the world’s most popular destinations, hotels, restaurants and entertainment activities, with categories revealed throughout the year.
The Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best are given to places and experiences that receive exceptional reviews from Tripadvisor users, with less than 1% of the eight million listings achieving this recognition.
