Tatler Magazine reports that since the 1990s, these diamond sets have been adorned by the wives of the royal family.
At the show around Bandar Seri Begawan, which marked Anisha and Prince Mateen’s first public outing as a married couple on January 14, she complemented her elegant white dress with stunning diamond pieces from the collection.
Her look was enhanced by a necklace similar to the one her sister-in-law, Princess Fadzilah of Brunei, chose for her wedding in January 2022, and a diamond bouquet from the same collection.
Anisha also wore a tiara made by Singaporean brand Flower Diamond, valued at 10 million pounds ($12.8 million) and previously worn by Prince Mateen’s sister, Princess Azemah, during her wedding in January 2023.
Flower Diamond revealed in an Instagram post that the tiara, made up of 838 diamonds totaling 132 carats set in white gold, took eight months to make.
Tatler Magazine pointed out that the design of the tiara, with motifs of ocean waves and crescents, pays homage to Brunei’s Islamic heritage and its location on the island of Borneo.
After the show, Anisha Anisha donned a Zuhair Murad dress for the evening reception and banquet. She also replaced Princess Azemah’s tiara with another historic piece, worn by Queen Saleha, the first wife of the Sultan of Brunei, and most recently seen on Princess Fadzilah.
Anisha Rosnah, 29, a University of Bath graduate and entrepreneur, set up Silk Collective and co-founded Authentirary, a tourism business offering cultural experiences.
His grandfather, Pehin Dato Isa, an advisor to the Sultan of Brunei, played a central role in government in the 1960s and 1970s.
His brother Danial Deen Isa-Kalebic is said to be a close friend of Prince Mateen, and his sister-in-law Janetira Attaskulchai Deen is said to be linked to the Thai Attaskulchai family, owners of the Betagen yogurt brand.
She and Prince Mateen of Brunei, 32, celebrated their wedding from January 7 to 16 in a lavish ceremony with around 5,000 guests, including royals and international dignitaries.
The couple made their first public appearance since their marriage on January 28, at the wedding of Thai billionaire Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha.
