MediaTek will start rolling out customizations for its Dimensity 1200 SoC for smartphones starting next month.
According to a report by Digital Trends on Monday, June 28, Mediatek’s campaign for the chip architecture of Dimensity 1200 chip features five core areas. A mobile company could now select customizations based on their preferred outcome.
To have a good look at it, envision the change in the appearance and software of future smartphones. For instance, the mobile gadget manufacturer could explore their camera processing engine that could change over time.
Mediatek has been keen on focusing on the image signal processor (ISP) which paves the way to later some features of the visual processing engine. Some of the improvements that can be seen during the change include colors, camera hardware specs, image stabilization, and depth mapping to name a few.
The chipmaker guarantees that the phone developers could enjoy the freedom in tweaking the performance of the camera. This will ensure that the latest hardware could keep up with the software.

OnePlus Nord Rumor Points Out Possible Dimensity 1200 SoC
It is expected that we could see more custom Dimensity 1200 beginning next month. The processor was revealed earlier this 2021 and we have seen that it was slotted in select phones such as Xiaomi, OPPO, and Realme.
Unbeknownst to many, there is a swerving rumor about the launch of the OnePlus Nord 2 in July. The device will begin rolling out in India and will sport a Dimensity 1200 chip of MediaTek, 911 Mobiles reported.
