“I had everything in my life except a partner,” Hang said during her speech to guests at her wedding to conductor Tran Nhat Minh in HCMC on Sunday.
“I’m overflowing with emotions tonight, and I know you’re ten times happier than me [seeing me getting married]. I appreciate that.”
She also thanked famous designer Cong Tri for making her wedding dresses.
Minh said he was shaking even though he had participated in countless milestones throughout his life. He said his piano and singing performance at the start of the party might be the first and also the last time he played an instrument and sang at the same time.
“I hope everyone here tonight continues to love us in the future,” he said.
The couple’s wedding party was held at a luxury hotel in HCMC District 1 in the presence of many relatives and close friends of the two.
At the start of the party, Minh sang “Manh Ghep Cua Hai Giac Mo” (Pieces of Two Dreams), a song composed by his musician friend Viet Anh which tells the story of a man who wants to accompany his romantic partner for the stay. of their life.
Other friends of the couple, including pop singers Ho Ngoc Ha and Vo Ha Tram, as well as winner of the Miss International Queen title Huong Giang, also performed at the celebration.
Hang, 40, was born Pham Thi Thanh Hang in Da Nang. She became Miss Photo Vietnam in 2002, then began a career as a professional model.
She hosted the reality show Vietnam’s Next Top Model for many years and she was also a coach for the 2018 reality show The Face.
With two decades of modeling experience, she is considered one of the top models in Vietnam.
In addition to modeling, Hang has also starred in several films and television series, including: “Nhung Co Gai Chan Dai” (Girls with Long Legs), “Tuyet Nhiet Doi” (Tropical Snow) and “Nu Hon Than Chet” (Kiss of death).
Minh, 42, earned a master’s degree in Russia and currently works at the Ho Chi Minh City Symphony Orchestra and Ballet Opera.
The couple got engaged in August and performed the other wedding rituals on Sunday at Hang’s home in HCMC.
