The young Vietnamese dancer, Mai Trung Hieu, died at the age of 29 because of lung disease. He passed away at 12 a.m Feb. 6th at Ho Chi Minh city.
Le Hien, a closed friend of Mai Trung Hieu, confirmed that the young dance has died yesterday. Right now, his corpse is being moved from Ho Chi Minh city to Phan Thiet, his homeland. His father and the medical staff have tried hard to save the dancer, but his tragic situation was unstoppable. In Feb. 5th, several celebrities of Vietnam have shared the death of Trung Hieu, but the dancer actually has died yesterday, aged 29.
Singer Duong Trieu Vu, who has partnered with Mai Trung Hieu before, said that it was a deep sad for him.
“Hieu is young, talented, fresh, and he could dance pretty well. He is one of my favorite celebrities. I love watching clip of him learning dancing in China and I always support them,” Vu said.
Duong Trieu Vu recalled Trung Hieu as a warm-hearted person and very nice guy that he has known. Trung Hieu even decided to perform for Trieu Vu’s live show without wage, but in the end, Duong Trieu Vu still gave some gifts to the young dancer.
Performer Linh Nga, another colleague of Trung Hieu, described him as a beloved dancing partner and she said that she was desperate to recognize the news.
“For sure that I could not step my feet into dancing floor again in a while if there is no you,” Linh Nga said.
Several other celebrities shared for the loss of Mai Trung Hieu as well including designer Do Manh Cuong, Ly Qui Khanh, singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, producer Hong Tu, dancer Le Hoang Nga My, photographer Pham Hoang Nam,… At the young age, Mai Trung Hieu has earned for himself a lot of prizes such as second prize for International Dancing Competition in Seoul in 2018.
In the end, we feel sorry for this loss. Rest in peace Mai Trung Hieu!
