Inter beats their biggest rival – AC Milan – in the Milan Derby with two goals from Lautaro Martínez and a skillful finishing goal of Romelu Lukaku.
It was a spectacular performance of Lukaku and his partner in crime, Martinez, against AC Milan as their parent club – Inter – beats the biggest rival. This victory sent Antonio Conte’s side to the top of Serie A fixture and earned them a huge advantage towards the trophy race.
Inter Milan kicked off the match perfectly as they got the opening goal after just 5 minutes the match was in. Lukaku dribbled the ball down to the right of AC Milan and made a good cross for his strike partner to tap in successfully. Nerazzurri then remained to be the dominant side in the rest of the first half. The black and blue side created several good chances against AC Milan, but they failed to make it to the back of the net again.

A perfect saving performance of Handanovic accomplished seconds later when he protected the goal from an attempt of AC Milan’s Sandro Tonali.
Those saves of Handanovic then proved to be crucial as Inter Milan once again uplifted the margin against their rival.
Martinez once again tap in the ball successfully after a good set piece began by an attempt of Lukaku. The Belgian striker moved the ball to Achraf Hakimi who later found it to Christian Eriksen. Former star of Spurs then paused the beat before fed it to Ivan Perisic who then supported Martinez to make the ball into the back of the net. Inter sealed the result of 3-0 in the 66th minutes after an outstanding finishing move of Lukaku.
Inter Milan comfortably jumped into the top spot of Serie A fixture, leading with 53 points and following by AC Milan with 4 points behind. Despite being defeated in the Milan derby, AC Milan still has advantage in the Serie A’s trophy race. They are still in the top 2 and could overturn at any time in the rest of the season.
