Ten people riding Harley motorcycles in a car lane on Binh Loi Bridge in HCMC’s Binh Thanh district were fined VND5 million ($205) and had their licenses revoked.
Each driver was fined VND500,000 on Monday and had their licenses suspended for two months by Hang Xanh traffic police officers.
Bikers lined up and rode motorcycles along the car lane of Binh Loi Bridge on December 10. At the time of the incident, few other vehicles were using the lane.
The passengers said they were accompanying a wedding in District 11. Seeing that there were few cars in the lane at the time, they decided to enter.
