The English singer has finally released a new single in the year 2020. This time, Ed Sheeran sang a song about the December Holidays whose name is “Afterglow.”
After several hits, Ed Sheeran created for himself another top song with the name “Afterglow.” That name itself says a lot of things. It reflects the beautiful melody that the song carries, brings out the harmony that a love song is supposed to have, and reveals the meaningful lyrics of a song for the December Holidays.
‘We were love drunk waiting on a miracle/ Trying to find ourselves in the winter snow / So alone in love like the world had disappeared / Oh I won’t be silent and I won’t let go / I will hold on tighter ‘til the afterglow,” Sheeran sang the chorus of his new song. The beautiful chorus and that warm voice of Ed Sheeran was more attractive under the twilight setting of the background and the slight cinematic effect.
The Englishman actually has hinted at his new single on a post he published this Sunday on his Twitter. He said that he would have a Christmas gift for his fans and then “Afterglow” was released.
“Afterglow is a song I wrote last year that I wanted to release for you. It’s not the first single from the next album, it’s just a song I love, and hope you love too,” Sheeran said. “Have a safe and happy festive break and New Year’s. Back to dad land for me now, ciao.”
