E3 2021 is coming really soon, and fans couldn’t be more excited to see something good after the bust that was E3 2020. And the all-digital event is going to make it a lot easier for attendees to digest everything E3 come June.

WCCFTech reports that E3 2021 will be accessible via a full online portal and a mobile app. These will feature a slew of virtual booths where convention-goers can find all the latest gossip about their favorite games and gaming tech. The portal and app are expected to be a central hub for the entire show.
The app and portal was made by three companies (Game Cloud Network, Revyrie, and HCL Technologies Ltd), and will have six key features:
- Exhibitor booths which will act as individual hubs inside the portal for their own announcements.
- E3 Live Broadcast, which will be hosted by Jacki Jing, Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez, and Greg Miller. The broadcast will have interactive overlays courtesy of Hovercast, and will have publishers conduct showcases, panel discussions, guest appearances, and press conferences.
- Lounges where all E3 attendees could gather online and discuss their fandoms.
- A Profile Creation mode where attendees can make a unique, customizable profile.
- Forums where attendees can participate in online discussions and sharing.
- Leaderboards aiming to gamify E3, which hopes to encourage attendees to interact with each other as much as possible.
According to PCInvasion, the organizers for E3 2021 want the portal and mobile app to allow fans, industry professionals, and even the media to experience what the entire convention has to offer in a fully online setting, while also running parallel to the official four-day-long broadcast of the event.
It can also be safe to say that while still unconfirmed, the E3 2021 app will be available to Android and iOS.

What To Watch Out For At E3 2021
This year’s E3 is full of highly anticipated announcements that’s sure to get gamers salivating. But there are certain exhibitors whose shows are likely to stir up enough hype to break the internet.
Among these is Microsoft, which insiders allege will reveal new information about a handful of the generation’s biggest AAA releases. There’s a slew of titles awaiting releases on all their Xbox and Windows platforms, but perhaps the most hyped-up is Halo Infinite.

First teased 2 years ago at E3 2019, Halo Infinite has been in relatively quiet development. Back then, it was likely shown to be an open-world game due to players being now allowed to explore the Halo Ring for the first time. During their show, Microsoft is probably going to confirm that fact, alongside more information and brand-new gameplay trailers.
Nintendo is also among the biggest exhibitors whose presentation is expected to be massive. For one, fans have been eagerly awaiting the rumored announcement of the Switch Pro. If the gossips are true, then Nintendo will be releasing the world’s first-ever 4K-capable handheld gaming console, which is something that can certainly turn the gaming industry inside and out.
There’s also much clamor for more news about The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2. As the sequel to the critically acclaimed Breath Of The Wild on Switch, the game is projected to be one of this generation’s biggest AAA releases that probably won’t be on the next-gen consoles.

E3 2021 will run from June 12 to 15, with the entire event officially live streamed for free.
