E3 2021 is just around the corner, and every single avid gamer on Earth is excited to see game industry giants reveal more news about their most anticipated titles. And these two giants are preparing the big guns.

TechRadar just reported that Microsoft and Bethesda will be holding a joint conference at E3 2021, and will be expected to reveal more information about the biggest projects in their respective pipelines.
The conference was confirmed by Microsoft themselves, who weirdly didn’t explicitly state that it will happen at E3 2021. All they said was that it will “happen in a few weeks,” which going by current information, falls right smack into E3’s schedule spanning June 12th to June 15th.
So, it’s safe to assume that the conference will be held during E3 2021, where Microsoft is a confirmed exhibitor.
For those who are a bit confused as to why Microsoft and Bethesda are together at E3 2021, it’s because the developer is now part of the former. Microsoft acquired Bethesda’s parent company, ZeniMax Media, for a cool USD $7.5 billion earlier this year, as reported by The Verge.
As a result, a number of classic Bethesda games are now part of Xbox Game Pass, including the iconic “Elder Scrolls” titles “Morrowind,” “Oblivion,” and the genre-defining “Skyrim.”

E3 2021’s Most Anticipated: ‘Halo Infinite’
Aside from Nintendo and its showcase (*cough Switch Pro *cough “BOTW 2”), Microsoft and Bethesda are perhaps among the most anticipated exhibitors in this year’s E3. And it’s all because of the massive AAA titles they currently have in the works.
Many insiders believe that Microsoft is ready to pull out the big guns at E3 2021, and we’re inclined to believe them.
First off, there’s “Halo Infinite.”
Teased way back in 2019, the latest (and probably last) installment of the “Halo” series has gotten Master Chief’s fans raving for an update. Currently, there are only a few confirmed details about the game. For one, it’s coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one, and it’s also a cross-gen title, meaning the game will also be available for the Xbox One.

It might be safe to say that Microsoft could finally announce a release date for “Infinite,” which has long been rumored to release sometime in Fall of this year.
What About Bethesda?
The iconic developer doesn’t have any new “Fallout” games to announce at E3, but they might present new details about the long-awaited “Elder Scrolls 6,” and their brand-new IP, the space-based RPG “Starfield.”
“Starfield” is Bethesda’s first new IP in over 20 years, and there’s a lot of excitement surrounding it.
Apparently, Elon Musk advised on the game, which will likely add more fuel to the fire. The studio has been quite mum about the game since its first teaser in 2018, so maybe fans are going to get more details come June.
As for “Elder Scrolls 6?” There’s been literally no information about it whatsoever for over two years now. Avid fans of the series can only hope that by E3 2021, Microsoft and Bethesda will be starting–or ending–their show with a bang that echoes throughout Tamriel. But, if the studio doesn’t reveal anything new about “Starfield,” then it’s highly probable that it won’t say anything about “TES 6.”
