Creativity and design festival
The Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 is a collaborative initiative involving the Municipal People’s Committee, Architecture magazine and the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
Supported by UNESCO, UN-Habitat, international entities, businesses, creators and artists, the festival revolves around the theme “Flow” and highlights the role of the Red River in connecting historical aspects, cultural and socio-economic aspects of the capital.

The festival will feature 60 cultural activities, utilizing four notable Hanoi architectural landmarks. Activities include exhibitions, workshops, art shows, community events, fairs and children’s playgrounds.
With the participation of more than 200 Vietnamese and international organizers, designers and artists, the highlight of the event is the unique opportunity for locals and visitors to explore century-old architectural wonders like the Hang Dau Water Tower , Van Xuan’s flower garden and Gia Lam’s train. The event is scheduled from November 17 to 26 at the Gia Lam Railway Factory, 551 Nguyen Van Cu Street, Long Bien District, as well as other venues in Hanoi. The festival is free and open to people of all ages.
Italian Cuisine Week
The Italian Embassy in Hanoi presents the 8th Annual Italian Cuisine Week with various events in Hanoi. The event aims to highlight the importance of the Mediterranean diet, which is an important aspect of Italian cultural identity.

Themed “Dining with Italian Cuisine: Health with Taste,” the week includes a workshop on fermented foods, an art exhibition showcasing the evolution of Italian eating habits, an exhibition showcasing authentic Italian culinary products and a festival two-day wine tour featuring Italian wine distributors in Vietnam.
The event is scheduled from November 13 to 19 at Casa Italia, 18 Le Phung Hieu Street, Hoan Kiem District.
Workshop: Museum and Chill
The “Museum and Chill” event is a workshop organized by Tipsy Art in collaboration with the Hanoi Museum of Fine Arts. Participants are invited to enjoy painting, refreshments and a visit to the museum.

The workshop is scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday, November 19, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Ba Dinh District. Tickets start at 440,000 VND ($18) per person. Each ticket includes access to the studio and museum, providing a delightful Sunday experience of art and relaxation.
Pulling Ritual Games Festival
Hanoi is set to host the first festival of tug-of-war ritual games, celebrating the UNESCO-listed intangible cultural heritage of Cambodia, the Philippines, South Korea and Vietnam. The event will showcase the rich traditions of eight communities from Vietnam and Korea at the ancient Tran Vu Temple.

The event will take place at Tran Vu Temple, Lane 126, Co Linh Street, Long Bien District. The program begins with the “One Rope, One Community” exhibition on November 17, followed by live presentations of rituals and tug-of-war games on November 18.
The Louis XIII experience
Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi will host a gastronomic event, where a 5-course menu will be accompanied by Louis XIII by Rémy Martin. Known for its softness, complexity and elegance, Louis XIII is made from a blend of up to 1,200 brandies brandies.
The cost is 6,000,000 VND ($247) per guest and the number of places for the event is limited. The event will take place on November 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Beaulieu, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, 15 Ngo Quyen Street, Hoan Kiem District.
