Beauty queen dons Vera Wang dress at her wedding

The famous couple celebrated their wedding ceremony at a five-star hotel in Hanoi on Sunday. Many celebrities were present at the event to celebrate their big day.

I appeared in a strapless silk mermaid-tail gown by Vera Wang, a brand renowned for its wedding dress designs, as she greeted guests arriving at the event. She completed her look with a minimalist veil, satin heels and pink makeup.

The beauty queen’s dress reportedly cost $3,300.

She then changed into another dress created by Vietnamese designer Phuong Linh. Made from high-quality white lace imported from France, this classic and romantic dress is inspired by the lily of the valley, a symbol of loyalty, happiness and fortune in life.

The dress reportedly cost My hundreds of millions of dong (100 million VND is equivalent to US$4,100) and took the design team 800 hours to complete.

A sophisticated veil with a 1960s vibe accompanied and complemented the dress, creating a feminine look.

My donned another dress created by Linh for her wedding to Hau in Hau’s hometown in the northern province of Thai Binh earlier this month, which was inspired by camellias and took the design team 680 hours to complete.

Hau, 24, gained popularity after his early career performances made him a regular starter for the national football team. His play contributed to Vietnam’s victory at the 2018 SEA Games.

He and My, 22, started dating a few months after My participated in the Miss Vietnam 2020 pageant.

The couple went public with their relationship in 2022. They completed their engagement ceremony in Hanoi earlier this month, followed by a wedding ceremony on the same day in Hau’s hometown in Thai Binh province.
