Millions of people nationwide headed to the polls by 5.30pm on Sunday with authorities saying more than 95.65 per cent of the electorate voted to elect deputies to the National Assembly (NA) and all-level People’s Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure. An additional 96 more Covid-19 infection cases have just been confirmed in Vietnam, raising the Monday counts to 187 and the total number of patients in the country to 5,404, the Ministry of Health reported on Monday evening.
