Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) members can now take up to Rs 1 lakh medical advance against their accumulated corpus for treatment due to emergency hospitalisation without submitting any estimate of the cost. The medical advance is granted for the treatment of any life-threatening diseases including Covid-19.
