The southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau plans to build a new airport on Go Gang Island. Go Gang Airport, which covers an area of 248.5 hectares in Long Son Commune, has a total investment of VND9 trillion (USD391 million), including VND1.25 trillion for the site clearance. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has officially decided to impose an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy tax of 47.64% on some sugar products imported from Thailand for five years. An additional 176 more Covid-19 infections have been confirmed, raising the total number of patients in the country to 11,480, the Ministry of Health reported at noon on Wednesday. Along with upgrading railway routes, Vietnam has ambitious plans to develop a number of new ones during 2021-2030 to strengthen regional economic development.
