The project has a price tag of VND3.7 trillion ($150 million) with a capacity of up to 80 megawatts.
It is built on an area of 30 hectares and has 26 turbines capable of generating 280 million kilowatt hours per year.
It is the largest onshore seaside wind power plant in the Mekong Delta region.
The province of Bac Lieu has 10 wind power plants, eight of which are operational.
