BANGKOK, January 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism participated in the Thai International Travel Expo (TITF) 2026, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok from January 22 to 25, where it showcased the province’s travel experiences and cultural assets to industry professionals and consumers. The destination’s presence at the event introduced the “Picturesque Zhejiang” brand to the Thai market and international visitors.
Located in the national pavilion “Hello!” China”, the Zhejiang stand attracted constant interest from participants. It featured destination information and travel ideas, presented in printed visitor materials, including maps, brochures and guidebooks. Design-oriented cultural souvenirs, inspired by Jiangnan traditions and suitable for daily use, were popular among visitors. Many also explored the “Zhejiang Travel” digital platform, which offers visitor information and trip planning assistance for international travelers, reflecting a focus on accessibility, navigation and visitor services.
An information meeting dedicated to Zhejiang took place on January 24. The presentation covered cultural heritage, main attractions, regional cuisine and features of the “Zhejiang Travel” platform. Two selected routes—“Zhejiang: through the mountains and the waters” And “Jiangnan: an era of enchantment”— were revealed as examples of thematic travel experiences aimed at an international audience. Interactive segments during the event encouraged audience participation and dialogue. Travel agencies, including China Travel Service Zhejiang and Zhejiang International Cooperation Travel Service introduced selected travel programs and destination-related merchandise, receiving favorable responses from travel industry representatives, tour operators, travel advisors and visitors in attendance.
During the show, tourism representatives from Zhejiang and Thailand held discussions on route development, market alignment and cooperation opportunities, as well as encouraging two-way visitor flows. Both sides agreed to strengthen collaboration in the culture and tourism sectors, with the aim of strengthening trade ties and supporting sustainable tourism growth in Zhejiang and Thailand.
