Yamaha sounds to be an ideal option in the context of purchasing a receiver. While 2020 left us in shambles when the HDMI 2.1 appeared to be inconsistent, the promising feature takes into account several contents which will arrive this 2021.

The coming of the Aventage receivers will mean that it is expected to be compatible for high-level resolutions from 4K/120 Hz to 8K which is perfect for the next-gen consoles. However, we noticed that the HDMI 2.1 features are kind of shaky at the moment, and some users said that they have been experiencing problems with their Xbox Series X when they plug in the receiver during their 4K gaming.

According to the official news site of Yamaha, a new series of cutting-edge Aventage AV receivers will be debuting this 2021. The next-generation of flagship line-up will feature more powerful and more game-changing characteristics that will improve what we see beyond home entertainment.

The Japanese company will be releasing a noteworthy software update that people could try for the first time. Mainly, what the users will look forward to are the RX-A4A (7-channels), RX-A6A (9-channels), and RX-A8A (11-channels) which will deliver an extensive set of breath-taking qualities.

Yamaha said that the packed features of the HDMI 2.1 will include a Quick Frame Transport (QFT), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Quick Media Switching (QMS), and the 4K/120Hz,8K/60Hz. The bad news is that these mentioned features will not be available during the release.

Moreover, the HDMI inputs will welcome support from the Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, the two 3D audio formats which fully back up Dolby Vision. Through the 3D-audio format support, users can also digital assistants like Google Assistant, Apple’s Siri and Amazon’s Alexa

Certainly, users could also calibrate the audio output, as well as the room acoustics test through the microphone. Even so, the update will prompt the addition of the Auro 3D for the two advanced receivers. According to Yamaha, these models will bring virtual, 3D “soundscapes” which will transfer the listener to another dimension.

How Much Will the Avantage Receivers RX-A4A, RX-A6A, and RX-A8A Cost?

It will take some time for those doubters to stop assuming whether the following updates will be resolved at the soonest possible time. However, if you want to know if the following Avantage receivers will suit your budget, here are the their summer prices for each of them:

    • RX-A4A ($1,300)

    • RX-A6A($2,200)

    • RX-A8A($3,000)

Apparently, the only thing that we could do right now is to wait for the future updates to come. To add, if the issues in the Xbox Series X will be fixed, that would be a huge solution to all gamers out there, Engadget reported.

Unless a new software upgrade will come for these receivers, people will continue to be hesitant to try out a new Yama smart home receiver.
