A harvest of medals: Xtep athletes win 6 gold medals, 2 silver and 2 bronze
HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam, December 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Attracting 23,000 runners worldwide, the 8th edition of the Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon was successfully launched on December 7. After an intense competition, the elite athletes sponsored by Xtep produced a dominant performance. In the men’s full marathon, the Ethiopian international elites swept the podium: Ayalew Seleshi Simaneh took the victory with an impressive time of 02:23:12followed by Wondale Melsew Baye (02:23:23) And Kebede Leta Girma (02:23:32). Among women, the local ambassador of the Xtep brand Ph.OhevenYou HOhng LEh obtained first place with 02:48:07while Ethiopian athletes Mohamed Yenework Husen (02:48:45) And Zega to the town of Sirabz (02:50:52) took second and fourth place respectively.
