Many previous reports claimed that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will feature a 4,700mAh battery, but according to an internal source who has access to an early engineering sample, the unit will actually be 5,000mAh.
A famous Chinese tipster on Weibo has revealed details that the battery is split in half, suggesting super-fast charging is within reach – not that it has never been in doubt. However, he did not name his source and simply said that the latest engineering sample came with a 5,000mAh battery. It’s even a step up from last year’s Mi 11 Ultra.
Earlier reports suggest that the handset will support Xiaomi’s super-fast 120W wired charging introduced with the Mi 11 Ultra. We hope to learn soon enough as there is still no official date set for the announcement of the Mi 11 Pro.
