Xiaomi released the Mi 11 flagship in the final days of 2020 and there are rumors that two more phones will join the family – Mi 11 Lite and Mi 11 Pro. The former is expected to be slightly less powerful and cheaper, and a leak has revealed some of the specs it might have.
According to the Chinese source, the Mi 11 Lite will have an OLED display with a punch hole for a selfie camera, Qualcomm SM7350 chipset, 64 MP main camera and 5x zoom.

Each of these features sounds interesting – first off, there’s no Qualcomm’s SM7350 platform. Some people think it’s a Snapdragon 755G, built on 5nm process technology, and its processor will have an ultra-powerful Cortex-A78 core.
The 64 MP main camera is a downgrade from the 108 MP shooter on the Mi 11 (which is the same sensor + lens as last year’s Xiaomi Mi 10), but this time it looks like a lens periscope will keep him company. The fancy telephoto lens is a pretty expensive component, and it will be surprising to see it in a Lite level phone because it doesn’t have the vanilla version.
There is always a possibility that the source will get the wrong information or talk about another phone, but we’ll see how this situation plays out once Xiaomi announces the Mi 11 Lite.
