study by the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago revealed that 47% of Americans are unlikely to buy an EV as their next car, citing concerns about maintenance costs and a lack of knowledge about EV benefits.
It’s understandable why the public might hesitate to embrace this new technology. After all, they’re accustomed to internal combustion engine (ICE) cars, a technology refined for over a century since Karl Benz produced the first automobile in 1886.
