The first MediaTek 1100 powered phone will be announced on March 6 – the upcoming midranger vivo S9. The device was already on a Google Play console listing and now leaks @ Digital chat station and @Arsenal revealed the detailed specifications of the device.

6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a notch cutout for its dual selfie cameras. The main sensor up front will be Samsung’s 44MP GH1 and it will be accompanied by an ultra-wide snapper. The rear appears to house a tri-camera setup similar to vivo’s S7 5G, although we don’t have details on the actual sensors here.

The S9 would feature a flat aluminum frame and a body that’s just 7.31mm thick. It is supposed to be launched as the lightest 5G smartphone at 168 grams. The two new leaks also specify a 4000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and two RAM / storage versions with an 8/128 GB trim and a 12/256 GB variant.
