At the end of last year, vivo announced its entry into six European markets, the plan for 2021 is to double this figure and have an official vivo presence in 12 countries. Romania and Czechia take the lead and will be followed by Serbia and Austria before the end of June.
The company promises to bring high-end smartphones, those with advanced camera systems co-designed with ZEISS. No name was named in the press release, but there are actually only three options: the vivo X60 and X60 Pro and the X60 Pro +.

vivo X60 5G • vivo X60 Pro 5G • vivo X60 Pro + 5G
Of course, there’s no guarantee we’ll see all three, but these are the only three with a ZEISS logo on the camera bump. None of them have appeared anywhere in Europe yet, not even the original six markets.
There is a good chance that vivo will wait for the start of the UEFA EURO championship. It will be a great marketing opportunity as the company is the official UEFA partner for smartphones for the 2020 and 2024 championships (note: the 2020 edition has been postponed to this year due to the pandemic).
Anyway, vivo has already launched local Romanian and Czech websites. You can go and check them out, but no stores are linked, so you can’t buy anything (yet).
