A new gaming phone from the iQOO branch of vivo will arrive on March 16th and today we got to see some live photos of the device. We’re talking about the vivo iQOO Neo5 which will apparently have three cameras on the back and one on the front behind a punch hole.

All three cameras appear to be standard, with no periscope in sight. However, the Neo line is expected to be an affordable flagship in the iQOO universe and a fancy telephoto lens won’t let you keep the price low.
The front of the phone will be a flat OLED panel, as evidenced by the protruding power key. It will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and some games will be able to run it. In this exact photo, we see the Peacekeeper Elite / Game for Peace (the Chinese version of PUBG) running at the highest refresh rate, but other games like Honor of Kings (aka King of Glory) will be limited to 90Hz. .

The vivo iQOO Neo5 will run on the Snapdragon 870 chipset with Origin OS out of the box, but we’re pretty confident that the UI will have a lot of hardware boosters because, after all, it’s a gaming smartphone. which sometimes has to use all available resources.
The phone is expected to cost CNY 2,999, but we’ll find out for sure at the official event in two weeks.
