Event organizer website Missosology announced on Thursday the list of 67 Timeless Beauty 2022 contestants.
They were chosen from the top 12 Miss Supranational competitors, the top 12 at Miss Earth, the top 13 at Miss World, the top 15 at Miss International, the top 16 at Miss Universe as well as other events.
The Timeless Beauty competition judges will first choose a top 25, then a top 10, and then the contestant with the highest score will be awarded the crown.
Born in 2001, Do Thi Ha was crowned Miss Vietnam 2020. She studies Business Law at Hanoi National Economics University.
She competed at World 2021 in Puerto Rico and finished in the top 13.
“I am pleased with the result because it was worth the effort I put in,” she said after the competition.
Kim Duyen was born in 1995 and she’s achieved the best results of any Vietnamese ever at Miss Supranational.
She was first runner-up at Miss Universe Vietnam 2019. Then she competed at Miss Universe 2021 where she finished in the top 16.
Other beauty queens on the nomination list include Miss Universe 2022 R’bonney Gabriel (the US), Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska (Poland), Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg (Poland), Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg (Germany), Miss Supranational 2022 Lalela Mswane (South Africa), and Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi (South Korea).
Timeless Beauty is an annual poll since 2004 organized by Missosology.
The contestants were selected from five major beauty contests including: Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Supranational, Miss Earth, Miss International, which others were selected at random by experts.
The judges are analysts from Missosology, who will evaluate contestants on a scale of one to five, choosing those with the highest average scores to advance to the next round.
The contestants are judged on three main factors: their beauty, their performance at the competition and their potential impact on the world.
In 2018, Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H’Hen Nie become the first Vietnamese ever to win the Timeless Beauty title.
