    On the afternoon of October 25, the Ministry of Health recorded 8 nCoV-positive cases, all of them were immediately quarantined. Total infection increased to 1,168.

    On the afternoon of October 25, the Vietnam Ministry of Health recorded 8 nCoV-positive cases, all of them were immediately quarantined. Total infection increased to 1,168.

    “Patient 1161”, female, 42 years old, from Tieu Can district, Tra Vinh province. “Patient 1162”, male, 33 years old, and “patient 1163”, female, 40 years old, in Dong Da district, Hanoi. “Patient 1164”, female, 47 years old, from Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province. On October 21, these four people from France entered Tan Son Nhat airport on flight VN5010, isolated at Minh Dam Regiment, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. Test results on October 24 at the Center for Disease Control of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province positive for nCoV. Currently, patients are being treated at the Medical Center of Long Dien district.

    “Patient 1165”, male, one year old, and “patient 1166”, female, 5 years old, from Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province, are all children of “patient 1159”. “Patient 1167”, male, one year old, of Giao Thuy district, Nam Dinh province, is the child of “patient 1157”.

    On October 20, these three children from Angola entered Van Don airport on flight VN8, isolated at 831 Regiment, Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province. Test result at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases was positive for nCoV. Three children are being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2.

    “Patient 1168”, male, 64 years old, from Mang Thit district, Vinh Long province. On October 23, he transited from the US to Incheon Airport, Korea, entered Da Nang airport on flight VN431, isolated in Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province. Test results on October 24 at the Center for Disease Control Quang Nam province positive for nCoV. Currently, the patient is being treated at Dien Ngoc General Clinic, Quang Nam.

    Today, 6 people were announced cured, bringing the total to 1,057. The death toll from Covid-19 was 35, with four deaths after three to four negative tests.

    The rest of the patients are being treated at the most stable health facilities, in which 3 people tested negative for nCoV once, 5 were negative for the second time, and 10 were negative for the third time.

    Up to now, Vietnam has recorded 691 cases of Covid-19 caused by domestic infections, the rest are on entries. The increase in the number of cases over the past month is all entries. The total number of people who have been in close contact and entering from the quarantine area is more than 14,000. In which, isolation concentrated in the hospital more than 180; Concentrated isolation is more than 13,000, the rest are at home or in accommodation.

    The Ministry of Health recommends that people continue to well implement the “5K Message”, especially wearing a mask and washing their hands with soap and antiseptic solution.

    The world recorded more than 1.1 million deaths from COV, out of 43 million infected. The three largest epidemic regions in the world are the US, India and Brazil.
