Twitter may be debuffing users on the platform when they reply to Elon Musk, and several people think it goes against the fans of the tech CEO. Replying to these statements, Musk said the platform’s current algorithm is “not genius” and is focusing on this setup in the present.
There could be a change in the algorithm once Twitter’s deal with Musk goes through into the future.

A user on Twitter doubted his algorithm and how it treats the people around Elon Musk, especially the fans who regularly respond to the tech CEO on the platform. The user said the social media company is debuffing the people responding to the Tesla CEO and not playing fair game.
The tweet also mentioned that it is debuffing those who use GIFs and the word “yaaaas” on the platform.

I’m guessing this is because the “algorithm” isn’t exactly genius vs intentional deboost by humans

Twitter algorithm is ‘not genius’; Changes coming soon?
Musk responded to this statement and blame on Twitter’s current algorithm, which those in current social media management designed for the company. The tech billionaire said this algorithm is “not exactly genius” and that it’s not the same thing that the people who respond to his tweets “deliberately” deboost.
Here, people like Pranay Pathhole, a well-known online personality with whom Musk interacts, said that an open-source algorithm that Musk promises would work well. Musk agree with this statementand it could be something the public will see in the future, especially if the deal goes through and the CEO takes over the company.
Twitter, Elon Musk and the Future
Twitter is a platform that existed for many users in the past that helped in the late 2000s era when blogging was the thing; a social media outlet that provides an outlet for the public in the present – and looks to a future headed by Musk.
The algorithm is one of the reasons why it is a famous platform, and many prefer Twitter over other social media which have more restrictions and content that usually keeps track of their data. A new policy is looming over Twitter, and it will focus on a new strategy that will hide disinformation during a crisis to avoid any potential dangers.
The future of social media is focused on a platform that will help the public with their many needs, especially with the many promises and claims of the tech CEO.
Despite Twitter being one of the public’s preferred platforms now, it’s not exactly perfect as many people find inequality in terms of treatment and focus on everyone. Nevertheless, Twitter is a platform that offers an experience for everyone, and maybe it will have a future that will help its users to have a balanced side.
