Motorola is preparing its next G and E series phones, two of which have already appeared in leaks like the Moto Capri and Capri Plus. Now XDA Adam conway and Techniknews Nils Ahrensmeier give us an overview of the two Capri phones that will be officially known as the Moto G10 (Capri) and Moto G30 (Capri Plus). Additionally, we get our first details on the Moto E7 Power.
The Moto G10, aka Capri, will be the most affordable member of Motorola’s 2021 Moto G lineup with a suggested retail price of € 149.99 which converts to $ 180. The phone will sport a teardrop-shaped notch screen with HD + resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. No information on the screen size at this time.
Moto G10 (aka Capri)
The back will feature a textured wave pattern most likely made of plastic. There is a 48MP main camera alongside a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth assistant. The G10 will be powered by the Snapdragon 460 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Also on the menu, NFC connectivity, a headphone jack and a dedicated Google Assistant button. The G10 will be available in Aurora Gray and Iridescent Pearl colors.
Then we have the Moto G30 (aka Capri Plus) which previously had the model number XT2129. The overall design here is similar to that of the G10 although the textured back has been replaced with a more standard flat design. The phone will apparently come with a 90Hz refresh rate display and a 13MP selfie shooter.
Moto G30 (aka Capri Plus)
The G30 is expected to arrive with the more powerful Snapdragon 662 alongside 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage. There’s a 64MP main camera on the back, aided by a 13MP Ultrawide snapper and two 2MP modules for macro photos and depth data. The Moto G30 is expected to cost € 179.99, or $ 216. Color options include Phantom Black and Pastel Sky.
The third device that has leaked is the Moto E7 Power (model number XT2097). This will be a budget entry although we are not getting any price details. It also comes with a teardrop shaped notch display and has a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset with 2GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of storage.
Moto E7 Power
The rear houses a 13MP primary shooter alongside a 2MP depth assistant while the front receives a 5MP selfie camera. A 5,000mAh battery, headphone jack, and Google Assistant button round out the specifications that have been leaked. The Moto E7 will be available in the colors blue and red.
In the related tipster news Sudhanshu1414 reports two other Moto E phones dubbed the Moto e6i and Moto E7i Power. He also confirmed the Moto G10 and G30 as well as a mysterious Moto G100. We’ll be sure to update you on upcoming Motorola Moto G and Moto E phones when more details emerge.
